e-docs UK, a leading supplier of Financial Management and HR SaaS solutions, are delighted to announce the award a multi year contract for the provision of Supplier Invoice Management services to one of Europe’s biggest aerospace suppliers supporting their shared service centre strategy.

e-docs UK will provide a UK based Exception Handling service for management of all supplier Invoices. This will include receipt of all paper and electronic invoices, scanning and data capture of invoices and the ongoing processing of Invoice exceptions through SAP/IM and into SAP for invoice payment.

e-docs UK Launches the Expenses module in OneView

OneView-Expenses is an easy to use online database that allows the user to upload their expenses claim along with any receipts. Approver receive notification via e-mail that a claim has been made and attached in the email is a link allowing them to view the claim, receipt and history as well as any notes.
Once the claim is either approved or declined the claimant will receive a email with the relevant information and if needed able to log back into the claim and alter any information. If the claim is approved the Accounts Payable department get a notification e-mail so they can process the claim as well as see all the information on the claim as well as having the option to export the file so it can be imported into a account \ payroll system.

Britvic Soft Drinks chooses e-docs UK for HR Records Management

Britvic Soft Drinks has recently awarded a multi-year contract to e-docs UK for its OneView HR solution.

After a lengthy evaluation process, e-docs UK was awarded this contract to deliver a HR Records Management solution incorporating OneViewHR software, back-file scanning services and distributed Data Capture technology. This solution will provide Britvic Soft Drinks with a single view for all Employee Information.

Kent County Council Selects e-docs UK for HR Records

Kent County Council has awarded a contract to e-docs UK to scan and index it’s archive of HR files.

The contract award which follows a comprehensive selection process involves the conversion of thousands of files to an electronic format compatible with Kent C.Cs electronic document management system.

New Information Security Accreditations for e-docs UK

e-docs UK is expected to be the first UK company to achieve conformance with BSI BIP0008:2008, the new international code of practice about to be published relating to the authenticity, integrity and availability of electronic identities attached to specific documents. The company has also achieved compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2005, the new code of practice for information security management of all electronically stored and communicated information.
e-docs UK has implemented an integrated Information Security Management System that provides an effective framework to establish, manage and continually improve the security of confidential information stored and managed on behalf of clients. This will be particularly important for clients operating in the finance, health, pharmaceutical, public and IT sectors where the protection of information is critical.

e-Docs UK has installed a new Pitney Bowes FastPac D1950 inserting system that will folds and insert at speeds of up to 5,400 pieces per hour. It features an automatic envelope aligner that ensures accurate, error free inserting of a wide range of documents enabling us to handle larger and more complex projects. Importantly, fold settings can be changed instantaneously within jobs to handle a wider range of inserts.

This investment is part of an ongoing programme to develop our e-billing services and deliver major productivity improvements to clients.

e-Docs UK has installed three new KODAK i620 Scanners at its head office in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. They will enable the company to meet the increasing demand for scanning services whilst maintaining the highest level of service to customers.

The Kodak i620 scanners are equipped with a host of innovative new features including SurePath paper handling that enables documents of different sizes, weights and types to be easily handled and deliver high productivity. In addition, advanced image processing delivers consistently high image quality and reduces the need for rescans.

e-docs UK acquires Total Imaging Solutions

e-Docs UK has acquired Total Imaging Solutions, the Watford-based provider of document scanning services. This is the first of a series of strategic acquisitions that will strengthen the company’s position in the marketplace and enable the delivery of a broader range of services to clients.

This acquisition will enable e-Docs UK to develop the scanning side of the business and play a key role in helping the company to hit its target of processing more than 5 million documents per month.

This will consolidate the company’s position as one of the UK’s largest providers of scanning services and enhance its range of advanced document management solutions, which include invoice processing, document hosting and e-billing.

According to Colin Baterip, Managing Director of e-Docs UK: “This acquisition will help give e-Docs UK the critical mass to achieve a greater presence in the market and compete on equal footing with the largest document management service providers.

It will enhance our ability to deliver innovative, ‘best of breed’ solutions regardless of scale.” As part of the deal, e-Docs UK will acquire Total Imaging Solutions’ client base, which comprises mainly of large blue chip clients.
