King UK is a part of the Autobar Group, one of Europe’s leading providers of vending, food services, packaging, disposables and distribution services.
The Challenge
e-docs UK has been working with King UK since 1993 and has implemented a succession of document management solutions to meet the evolving needs of this growing company. Most recently the King’s CD based solution, which we installed in 1998, was starting to show its age and so the company wanted a reliable document management solution that offered a higher capacity to cope with increasing business levels whilst eliminating technology support costs. The solution had to form part of an overall technology update, which would streamline communications with depots, customers and suppliers alike.
The Solution
After an extensive market evaluation King UK selected e-docs OneView, our online, hosted solution.
e-docs UK worked closely with King UK personnel to tailor the solution to meet its specific requirements. Using our high-speed scanners, e-docs UK now processes more than 25,000 documents a week for King UK, including sales and purchase invoices, delivery notes and remittances, received either electronically or as hard copy in weekly drops from each depot.
